Field trips give TACC members an opportunity to shoot in various venues with other club members, providing an opportunity for learning and camaraderie. It’s almost impossible to go on a field trip without learning something new! We welcome members of any skill level. You are encouraged to mentor or team up with a mentor and use this opportunity to enhance your skills. Please bring your camera gear, a tripod is recommended and maybe a bottle of water.
Our Field Trip Coordinator will come up with some field trips, but members are also encouraged to suggest a field trip location and time, and share a favorite or new location or type of photography with fellow members.
Field trips are scheduled as they come up, and members are notified through the group email. Sometimes dependent on the weather, bloom times, or other timeliness issues, there may not always be a lot of prior notice.
All Camera Club members and their guests are welcome to attend any TACC field trip.

Field Trip - Night Lights:
December 8, 2009 - 6 pm, Meet at Horizon Books Lower Level - w/ John Russell: John will give us some pointers on shooting lights at night, then we will head out to photograph the streets of down town lit with Christmas lights, decorated windows, and perhaps snow. This workshop is not cancelled because of weather, sometimes it has been warm and balmy, other times it has been bitterly cold and windy, snow or rain. Come prepared for weather, bring a tripod and shutter release if you have them, and extra batteries to swap out while one warms up inside your coat.
